Dr Stanley Yip spoke on carbon asset management for biochar project in the EcoPark of the Hong Kong SAR

Dr Stanley Yip, CEO of NanRise, was invited to speak on carbon credit development and asset management at the EcoPark Biochar Centre in Hong Kong. The Environmental Protection Department (EPD) of the Hong Kong SAR Government had awarded the contract to set up and operate the Pilot Biochar Production Plant in the EcoPark to the Jardine Engineering Corporation Limited in December 2021.

The project is now in full operation and aims to become the pioneer facilities in the region converting local woody waste into biochar. The Biochar production process is a globally recognized carbon removal processes.
